What locations do you service?

A Pawsitive Journey services the entire United States

Why does my pet need a certificate of health?

Pets can easily transport bacteria and diseases to other animals aboard. That’s why we require all pets to have a certificate of health administered by a licensed veterinarian. This protects all parties involved.

According to the USDA, all resident pets traveling through the United States need a health certificate issued in the United States with an official USDA endorsement stamp. This also includes pets traveling through the US whose destination country health certificates have expired.

Having a health certificate for your pet is required by law, without exceptions.

How often will my pet(s) receive exercise?

We ensure that all animals traveling with us on A Pawsitive Journey receive exercise every 3 to 4 hours of the drive. During this time, we clean their kennels to ensure that they have a comfortable and sanitized journey.

We also use this time will update you via photo, video, FaceTime, text, and/or phone call; whatever your preference, so that you can be assured that your pet is receiving quality care.

Do you cater to special needs pets?

Yes. Simply provide us with written instructions and required food, garments, restraints, etc, and we’ll be sure to keep your loved one safe and happy throughout the trip.

What do I need to supply for my pet transport?

You will need a Health Certificate from your veterinarian no older than 10 days, a collar for each dog and enough food for your transport. A blanket or T shirt that smells like home is optional but usually helpful.

Will I be able to check up on my pet(s) to see how they are doing and where they are?

Yes! We provide live GPS tracking, photo updates, video updates and text updates as part of our 5 Star service.

Are pets transported together?

Pets from different families are never allowed to interact. Every pet travels safely and is handled individually.

Do you provide flight nanny services?

Yes! We offer both flight nanny and ground transportation throughout the United States.

Can puppies travel?

Absolutely. We take extra precautions with young puppies, including keeping unvaccinated puppies off the ground during rest stops.

Can I travel with my pet?

Our transport service is for pets only, but we’re happy to coordinate pickup and delivery around your schedule.
